Welcome to the Parkland!

Originally named Goose Lake, the town was renamed to Roblin (after the premier of Manitoba at that time) in 1904, just after the first train came to town on the newly constructed railway in 1903. The railway transportation system eventually brought both farmers and families from Eastern Europe to settle in the area, leading to massive growth in the agricultural industry. Agriculture continues to be our main industry today, with the addition of an agricultural equipment dealership and two domestic vehicle dealerships on the edges of town ....
