Welcome to the Parkland!

Nestled beside Goose Lake (the fly fishing capital of Manitoba), Roblin is the first town that greets you in Manitoba as you travel east on highway 5. Just 14km from the Saskatchewan-Manitoba border and the Lake of the Prairies, Roblin offers many activities to enjoy on land and water.

Originally named Goose Lake, the town was renamed to Roblin (after the premier of Manitoba at that time) in 1904, just after the first train came to town on the newly constructed railway in 1903. The railway transportation system eventually brought both farmers and families from Eastern Europe to settle in the area, leading to massive growth in the agricultural industry. Agriculture continues to be our main industry today, with the addition of an agricultural equipment dealership and two domestic vehicle dealerships on the edges of town.

Living up to it's name as the Jewel of the Parkland, Roblin is only a short drive away from the Lake of the Prairies, Asessippi Ski Area & Resort, Child's Lake and many more lakes and parks. Fishing, ice fishing, boating and skiing are all available within a 20 minute drive, allowing visitors and residents outdoor activities year round.

Looking for something to eat? We've got a delicious bakery, a gourmet coffee shop, and a mouthwatering pizza place, just to name a few. If dessert is what you're craving then a local drive in located just south of Roblin in Russell offers ice cream that made "the top 42 drive ins you must visit this summer" list!

We would like to invite you to visit Roblin today!
